Kollivāyal Map Poster & Print
Kollivāyal lies in the hills of western Tamil Nadu, near the Nilgiris and the borders with Kerala and Karnataka. From above, this is uneven terrain, and the roads follow the contours in long curves, rarely running straight for more than a short distance.
Settlement here is spread along the roads rather than concentrated in a single dense core. Houses, small markets and plantation land alternate along the routes, and the map shows a branching network of lanes reaching out to homes on the slopes.
A Kollivāyal map poster turns this hill country into a flowing linear drawing. Curving roads, scattered clusters of buildings and wide open spaces create a composition that feels light and organic, quite unlike the grids of towns on the plains.

Dispersed settlement
Homes and small commercial clusters are strung along roads and lanes, so the built-up area appears as a loose, branching pattern.
Open hillsides
Between roads, broad areas of slope, forest and cultivated land remain empty on the map, leaving generous space in the design.
