Krishna River
The river's broad channel curves past the town and is the largest single shape on the poster. It gives the whole composition its sense of scale.

Kudachi Map Poster & Print
Kudachi lies in Belagavi district, near Karnataka's border with Maharashtra, on the bank of the Krishna River. The river dominates the map. It is a wide band that bends past the town, and the settlement forms a compact knot of streets on one side. Farmland reaches out in every direction, cut into long fields.
The town's layout is typical of the Deccan river settlements. Its lanes are close and irregular, with a few larger roads leading out toward nearby villages and market towns. The railway adds a straight line through a landscape that is otherwise shaped by water and fields, and it helps anchor the composition.
A Kudachi map poster keeps things simple. The dark curve of the river, a dense cluster of streets and the lighter lines of rural roads are enough to make a strong picture. It is a clear, honest portrait of a small town, and it will mean most to people who know it well.

Compact old core
The town's streets are tightly packed near the river, forming a small, dense centre that contrasts with the open land around it.
Rail and roads
A railway line and several rural roads fan out across the plain. Their straight strokes offset the curve of the river.

Kudachiを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
For families from Kudachi, and for people now living far from the Krishna, this map is a small, personal piece of home. The river-and-town composition also works as a graphic print in its own right.
Add a family name, a year or any line you like to the title and subtitle, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Buy the HD files for $9, or order a matte print with an optional wooden frame.
