The track crosses the frame in a long, clean line, giving the poster a strong axis and marking the route that shaped the town's growth.

Lanka Map Poster & Print
Lanka lies in central Assam, in the Hojai district, a region of plains, paddy fields and low hills. The town grew along transport links, and the railway line through it is one of the clearest features on the map. The streets form a modest central cluster around the station and market. Smaller roads lead out into the countryside.
Around the town, the landscape is green and well watered. Farmland, ponds and villages create a scattered, detailed texture beyond the town limits. In monochrome, those features appear as small shapes and fine lines that contrast with the straight track and the denser streets at the centre.
A Lanka map poster is best suited to people with a personal link to the town, who will recognise every junction. Its composition is simple: a railway line, a small core and open country. The result is quiet and balanced, with a strong central axis.

Station and market
The streets gather into a compact core near the railway, the densest area of the map and the centre of daily life.
Surrounding countryside
Fields, ponds and villages spread around the town and form a loose, scattered texture that softens the edges of the print.
