Mudalgi Map Poster & Print
Mudalgi is a town in Belagavi district, in the north of Karnataka. It sits on a wide, fairly level plain, and on the map it appears as a compact cluster of streets surrounded by farmland. Roads leave the town in several directions, connecting it with Gokak, Belagavi and the smaller villages of the area.
This is an important sugar cane growing region, irrigated with water from the Ghataprabha river system, and the fields around Mudalgi form a regular pattern of plots and canals. The town itself has a dense central market area, with newer, more open neighbourhoods spreading toward its edges.
A Mudalgi map poster shows an agricultural town whose shape is set by the land around it. In black and white, the dense centre and the ordered fields beyond make a simple, clean design that people from the town will recognise.

Sugar cane fields
The surrounding plots are largely planted with sugar cane, and their boundaries give the open areas of the poster a steady, regular texture.
Irrigation network
Canals linked to the Ghataprabha river system cross the land in straight lines, the channels that make intensive farming possible in this area.
