Pāmūru is a town in the interior of Andhra Pradesh, away from the coast, in a landscape of dry plains and scattered low hills. From above, it appears as a clear cluster of streets where several roads meet, with the built-up area spreading most densely along those main routes. Around it, farmland extends in every direction, divided into small plots that give the map a fine, textured background.
Irrigation tanks are a defining feature of this part of southern India, and the map shows water bodies of varying size near the town, some with embankments drawn as straight lines against their curved edges.
