Puli Map Poster & Print
Puli sits in Nantou County in a broad basin enclosed by forested mountains. It is commonly described as the geographic heart of Taiwan, and a monument in the town marks that claim. From above, the town is a dense block of streets on the flat valley floor, with farmland around it and steep, contour-heavy slopes on every side.
The street pattern is fairly regular because the basin is flat. Straight roads cross each other at right angles, and a few main arteries lead out through gaps in the hills toward Taichung and Sun Moon Lake. Small streams run across the basin floor. At the edge of the built area, the town grid gives way to field boundaries and then to the mountains.
Puli is known for clean water, which supplied its Shaoxing rice-wine brewery and its long tradition of handmade paper. A Puli map poster sets the enclosed geography of the town in plain black and white, with the grid at the centre and the ring of hills at the edges.

Centre of Taiwan
Puli is widely called the island's geographic centre. That makes it an unusual point to mark in the coordinates line of a poster.
Roads through the hills
The main routes leave the basin through valleys and passes. They appear as thin lines winding away from the grid toward the rest of central Taiwan.

Puliを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
Puli is a quiet choice for people with roots in Nantou, or for travellers who remember the road up to Sun Moon Lake. The mountain-framed grid gives the poster a calm, balanced composition.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, and you can choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. A digital HD set costs $9. Printed posters are also available.
