Dense old core
The oldest lanes sit tightly packed at the centre. On the poster they create a rich, dark texture that draws the eye first.

Risod Map Poster & Print
Risod lies in Washim district in the Vidarbha region of eastern Maharashtra. The surrounding land is part of the Deccan plateau: broad, gently rolling and mostly farmed. From above, the town shows a dense old core with lanes packed tightly together, and a looser ring of newer houses and roads around it.
Main roads leave the town toward neighbouring market centres. They form a star pattern that gives the plan its structure. Between them, a mesh of smaller streets fills the gaps. Beyond the edge of town, field boundaries and cart tracks take over, and small streams and water tanks break up the open ground.
A Risod map poster captures this common but rarely drawn shape of an Indian market town. Without colour, the difference between the dense centre and the open fields is easy to see. It is an honest, legible portrait of a place that matters mostly to the people who know it well.

Star of roads
Main roads leave the town in several directions toward nearby centres. Together they give the plan its clear, radiating skeleton.
Farmland edges
Outside the town, fields, tanks and small streams take over. The poster's margins stay light and open.
