Sidhaulī is a town in Sitapur district, Uttar Pradesh, on the broad alluvial plain that covers much of northern India. The land is almost perfectly flat, so terrain shapes nothing on the map. The street pattern comes from roads, fields and the gradual growth of a market town.
At the centre the lanes are narrow and densely packed, with irregular blocks and small plots. Main roads leave in several directions toward neighbouring towns and district centres, and the built-up area stretches along them before breaking into farmland. Ponds and small water bodies, common across the plain, appear as scattered open shapes.
