Talladega Map Poster & Print
Talladega is the seat of Talladega County in east-central Alabama. Its map has a classic Southern layout: a central courthouse square with streets running out from it in a regular grid, surrounded by residential neighbourhoods and larger institutional campuses. Rail lines cross the town, and highways lead outward through wooded hills and farmland.
The name is known worldwide because of Talladega Superspeedway, the NASCAR track located a short drive away. The town itself is also home to Talladega College, a historically Black college founded in the years after the Civil War, and to the Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind, whose campuses add open grounds to the map.
