Tor Lupara Map Poster & Print
Tor Lupara lies northeast of Rome, in the municipality of Fonte Nuova, in the rolling countryside between the Tiber valley and the Sabine hills. It grew in the second half of the twentieth century as a residential area for people working in the capital, and it has no old walled centre. From above, its streets spread across the low hills in loose, irregular patterns.
The Via Nomentana, one of the ancient consular roads out of Rome, runs through this part of the countryside, and the main roads of Tor Lupara lead toward it. Between the neighbourhoods remain fields, olive groves and patches of open ground, so the settlement looks less like a compact town and more like a web of streets across the land.
A Tor Lupara map poster shows a modern Roman suburb in its landscape. Residential streets branch and loop, cul-de-sacs end among fields, and the roads to Rome give the design its direction. In black and white, the pattern is light and open, with plenty of space between the lines, very different from the dense historic centre of the city nearby.

Branching streets
Residential roads split and loop across the hills, following the land and plots rather than a grid. The result is an organic, branching pattern that is easy to recognise.
Open countryside
Fields and olive groves remain between the built-up areas. They leave light gaps in the design and show that Tor Lupara still sits in the Roman countryside.
