Marlow Map Poster & Print

Marlow is a town in Buckinghamshire on the north bank of the Thames, below the Chiltern Hills. On the map, the high street runs north from the river in a straight line. The suspension bridge carries the road across the Thames at its southern end, beside the church of All Saints.

The bridge was designed by William Tierney Clark in the 1830s. He later designed Budapest's Széchenyi Chain Bridge, and Marlow's crossing is often described as a smaller forerunner of it. The Thames here has a weir and lock, and the river is well known for rowing, including the annual Marlow Town Regatta.

A Marlow map poster shows a classic English riverside town with a clear, readable layout: the river, the bridge, the high street and the streets around it. Wooded hills and meadows frame the town, so the print has plenty of open space around a compact centre.

Suspension bridge

The bridge carries the road across the Thames to the foot of the high street. It is the key link between the town and the south bank.

02

River Thames

The Thames runs along the southern edge of the town, with a weir and lock nearby. It gives the map a broad, gently curving waterline.

03

High Street axis

The High Street runs straight north from the river, forming the backbone of the town. Side streets branch off it into older lanes and newer neighbourhoods.
