Market square
The rynek sits at the heart of the plan, and the old streets run straight out from it. It is the most defined geometric feature on the map.

Pleszew Map Poster & Print
Pleszew is a county town in Greater Poland, in the west-central part of the country between Kalisz and Jarocin. Like many towns in the region, it grew around a market square. The main streets still lead into that square from every direction, and it remains the clear centre of the town plan.
From above, the old core is a compact arrangement of blocks around the rynek. It is surrounded by later layers: pre-war streets, blocks of flats from the socialist period and newer single-family housing at the edges. A railway line and regional roads pass through the town, and beyond them lies the flat, open farmland of Greater Poland.
A Pleszew map poster shows a town whose layout can be read in rings. At the heart is the dense, rectilinear square. Around it the streets loosen gradually until the map fades into field boundaries, a quiet shape well suited to a black-and-white print.

Layered growth
Housing from different periods surrounds the centre in rough rings, from tight historic blocks to looser estates and detached houses at the edge of town.
Open plain
The flat farmland of Greater Poland stretches around the town. Long field strips and country roads give the edges of the print a calm, even texture.
