Ridge-top roads
The main roads follow the crests of the hills, so the town stretches out along lines rather than spreading evenly, giving the poster a branching form.

Tuensang Map Poster & Print
Tuensang is the headquarters of one of the eastern districts of Nagaland, in the hills close to the border with Myanmar. It is home to several Naga communities, and the town serves as a hub for trade, schooling and administration for a wide area of scattered hill villages.
The terrain shapes everything on the map. Instead of a grid, Tuensang follows the ridges: the main roads run along the high ground and switch back as they climb or descend, and houses cluster on whatever level land the slopes allow. From above, the town looks like a series of branching lines, each tracing a spur of the hills.
A Tuensang map poster turns that mountain logic into a clear, elegant pattern. Every curve comes from the landscape, so the map says a great deal about the place even without contour shading. For people from the district, and for anyone who has travelled the roads of eastern Nagaland, it is an accurate picture of home.

Switchback curves
Where roads climb or drop between levels, they bend back and forth in tight loops that stand out as distinctive shapes on the sheet.
Scattered settlement
Houses and neighbourhoods cluster on the flatter patches of the slopes, leaving empty space between them where the ground falls away steeply.
