Al Brouj, also written El Borouj, is a town in the province of Settat in central Morocco, well inland from the Atlantic coast. It is the local centre for the surrounding farmland. From above it appears as a tight, clearly bounded settlement set in a wide, flat landscape of cultivated fields.
The town combines dense residential blocks with wider streets where the main roads enter and cross it. At the edges the built-up area stops quite suddenly and gives way to farm parcels and long straight tracks.
