Hillside streets
The streets follow the rolling terrain, curving along the slopes and gathering on the gentler ground. This gives the centre an irregular, organic outline.

The map
Amélia Rodrigues Map Poster & Print
Amélia Rodrigues is a municipality in the state of Bahia, between Salvador and Feira de Santana, on the edge of the Recôncavo, the fertile country around the Bay of All Saints. The town is small, and on a map it appears as a cluster of streets on rolling ground, with roads following valleys and ridges and farmland reaching in close around the built-up area.
The municipality is named after Amélia Rodrigues, a Bahian writer, poet and teacher born in the region in the nineteenth century and remembered as a notable figure in the state's literature. The surrounding landscape still carries the imprint of the Recôncavo's long farming history, with sugarcane and pasture on the hills and small watercourses running between them.
An Amélia Rodrigues map poster turns this setting into an unhurried composition: a compact web of streets, main roads curving away over the hills, and a wide margin of countryside. The format suits the place, and people from the town get a clear, recognisable view of home.

Regional roads
Roads toward Salvador, Feira de Santana and neighbouring towns leave the centre as long, gently curving lines. Beyond the town itself, they are the strongest features on the map.
Recôncavo countryside
Open farmland and pasture fill the map around the town. Small streams and rural tracks cross it and hint at the region's farming character.
