The map
Brasiléia Map Poster & Print
Brasiléia lies in the state of Acre, in far western Brazil, on the Acre River where it forms the border with Bolivia. The Bolivian city of Cobija sits across the river. On the Brazilian side, Brasiléia runs into the neighbouring town of Epitaciolândia. On a map, three urban areas meet around a single winding river.
The river is the dominant line, looping through the frame, while the streets on each bank form small grids that meet the water at different angles.
