Businga is a town in Nord-Ubangi Province in the north of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, on the Mongala River. From above, the river is the main feature: a wide, winding band of water with a town arranged along one bank. In this part of the Congo basin, rivers have long been the main routes for moving people and goods, and towns like Businga grew where road and water meet. The map reflects that.
