The map
Edegem Map Poster & Print
Edegem lies just past the southern edge of Antwerp, in Flanders. From above it looks like the city in a softer form: terraced and detached houses along gently curving streets, deep back gardens and a scatter of small parks. The main roads run roughly north toward Antwerp, and the tram lines along them give the town a clear sense of direction.
Two features stand out. The first is Fort 5, one of the nineteenth-century forts that once ringed Antwerp. Its moat still traces a sharp geometric outline inside a wooded park. The second is the large campus of Antwerp University Hospital near the boundary with Wilrijk. Its buildings, access roads and car parks form a distinct cluster among the residential streets.
An Edegem map poster works because the town has a clear structure without being a grid. Tram routes and main roads give it a spine, the fort's water gives it a strong focal shape, and the residential streets fill the frame with a fine, even texture. That texture looks especially good in the larger print sizes.

Hospital campus
Antwerp University Hospital sits on a large site near the Wilrijk border. Its buildings and service roads form a compact, blocky district that stands apart from the surrounding houses.
Tram corridors
Tram lines connect Edegem directly with central Antwerp. They run along the main streets that act as the town's backbone and give the map a clear north–south orientation.
