The map
Gravatá Map Poster & Print
Gravatá lies in the Agreste region of Pernambuco, roughly 80 kilometres west of Recife, on the highway that climbs from the coast into the interior. It sits higher than the coastal capital and has a noticeably milder climate. It has long been a weekend retreat for Recife families and is sometimes nicknamed the Switzerland of Pernambuco.
On the map, the town stretches along the main road, with a compact centre and neighbourhoods climbing the surrounding hills. Streets bend with the terrain rather than following a strict grid. On the outskirts, gated communities and country houses sit among green slopes, connected by winding lanes that loop through the landscape.
Gravatá is known for its chalet-style architecture, its furniture and crafts, and a winter season when the cool weather brings visitors up from Recife. A Gravatá map poster keeps the town's shape simple and accurate: the highway as a spine, the dense centre and the hills pressing in on either side.

Hillside streets
Neighbourhoods rise over the slopes around the centre, with curving streets that follow the contours. They give the map a softer, more organic feel.
Country retreats
At the town's edges, gated communities and weekend houses spread out among the hills, linked by winding lanes that gradually thin into countryside.
