The map
Kağızman Map Poster & Print
Kağızman lies in the south of Kars Province, in the valley of the Aras river. On a map, the town sits where the mountains open onto the valley floor. Streets fan out over the lower slopes, and the river and its irrigated fields run along the lowland nearby. Roads follow the valley toward Iğdır and climb north toward Kars.
The valley is noticeably lower and milder than the high Kars plateau, which lets orchards and farmland thrive around the town. The surrounding district contains ancient rock carvings, among the region's notable archaeological sites. Mountain ridges rise steeply on both sides of the Aras, giving the landscape a strongly enclosed shape.
A Kağızman map poster shows a town defined by its valley. The river forms a winding line through open ground, the streets gather at the foot of the slopes, and roads trace the natural corridors through the mountains. It is a meaningful print for families from eastern Anatolia and for anyone drawn to valley landscapes.

Slope-side streets

Mountain roads
Routes toward Kars and Iğdır follow valleys and passes through the surrounding ridges, drawing long, sinuous lines across the edges of the print.
