Lashibi lies in the Greater Accra Region, in the belt of suburbs that links the capital with the port city of Tema. The coast is close by to the south, though the district itself is mainly residential.
The street pattern mixes planned estates, with short parallel roads and cul-de-sacs, and more informal networks that grew as plots were built on one by one.
