The map
Licha Map Poster & Print
Licha is in Shandong province in eastern China, on the low plain inland from the Jiaozhou Bay area. The land here is flat and heavily farmed. On the map the town appears as a regular pattern of straight streets and rectangular blocks, set in the surrounding countryside.
Beyond the town, the land is divided into orderly fields crossed by farm roads and drainage channels. Villages lie at regular intervals across the plain, each a small cluster of streets. Larger roads link them to the town and to the wider regional network, and they run in long, straight lines.
A Licha map poster is simple and consistent. The town grid sits at the centre, surrounded by fields and villages. The design has a calm geometric rhythm, and its evenly spaced texture suits a minimalist interior.

Field patterns
Around the town, farmland is divided into regular plots by roads and channels. It creates a fine, even texture that fills the map.
Village clusters
Small villages are scattered across the plain at regular intervals. They appear as small dark dots in the pale field pattern.
