Weavers' lanes
Narrow residential lanes, where looms work inside homes, form a dense, intricate network at the heart of the poster and give it its darkest tones.

The map
Mubarakpur Map Poster & Print
Mubarakpur lies in Azamgarh district, in eastern Uttar Pradesh, a short distance from the city of Azamgarh. It stands on the flat, intensively farmed plain of the Ganges basin, and the map shows a compact, tightly packed town with narrow lanes branching off a few main roads, surrounded by fields and scattered villages.
The town is known across India for its handloom silk sarees, often sold under the Banarasi name, and weaving has shaped both its economy and its streets: many homes double as workshops. It is also a centre of Islamic learning, home to Al Jamiatul Ashrafia, a seminary that draws students from other parts of the country.
A Mubarakpur map poster renders that density as fine texture. The lanes form an almost woven pattern, the main roads cut clear lines through it and the fields around the town leave generous margins. It is an apt image for a place defined by weaving, and it looks especially good in larger sizes.

Road to Azamgarh
The main road links the town with the district headquarters, a clear axis that runs through the compact centre and out across farmland.
Seminary grounds
Al Jamiatul Ashrafia occupies a larger footprint than the houses around it, a distinct shape standing out against the tight surrounding lanes.

Why Mubarakpur
A map that means something
Many people from Mubarakpur work in cities across India and the Gulf, and the silk trade connects the town with buyers far away. A map of the home lanes is a meaningful gift and a quiet reminder of where the craft comes from.
