The old medina
The historic core is a dense mesh of narrow, winding lanes inside the line of its old walls. It forms the most intricate and striking part of the poster.

The map
Nedroma Map Poster & Print
Nedroma lies in Tlemcen Province in north-western Algeria, in the foothills of the Trara Mountains, a short distance inland from the port of Ghazaouet and not far from the Moroccan border. It is one of the region's oldest towns. Its historic medina still forms a compact, walled core on the slope, easy to recognise on a map by its dense, winding lanes.
The Great Mosque of Nedroma, founded by the Almoravid ruler Yusuf ibn Tashfin in the eleventh century, is one of the earliest surviving monuments of that dynasty. The area is also associated with Abd al-Mu'min, founder of the Almohad state, who was born in this region. On the map, the medina's tightly packed streets contrast with the more open layout of the newer quarters.
Around the town, the ground rises into terraced slopes and olive groves, and roads wind down toward the coast. A Nedroma map poster captures an unusually well-preserved urban pattern. It shows the medieval medina, the newer town beside it and the mountainous landscape that has always sheltered it.

Great Mosque quarter
The Almoravid mosque stands within the medina, surrounded by closely packed houses. This area has been at the centre of town life for more than nine centuries.
Trara foothills
Terraced slopes and winding roads surround the town and lead down toward the Mediterranean coast. They frame the dense medina with softer, contour-like lines.
