The map
Sete Rios Map Poster & Print
Sete Rios is an area in northern Lisbon whose name means seven rivers. Today it is best known as a transport hub. A railway station, a metro stop and one of the city's main long-distance bus terminals sit close together. On the map, rail tracks and major roads converge here and knot the district into a dense junction.
The Lisbon Zoo occupies a large green block in Sete Rios, set in the historic gardens of the Quinta das Laranjeiras. From above, its curving paths contrast with the straight lines of the surrounding infrastructure. To the west, the wide Monsanto Forest Park begins, a large wooded hill that shows up as open space on the map.
A Sete Rios map poster captures a part of Lisbon shaped more by movement than by old quarters. Elevated roads, ramps and rail cuttings sit beside apartment blocks and the zoo's gardens. The composition feels dynamic and engineered, a very different view of the city from the familiar hills and lanes of Alfama.

Zoo gardens
The Lisbon Zoo fills a large green block with winding internal paths, a softer pattern within the hard lines of the surrounding roads and railways.
Monsanto edge
To the west, the broad Monsanto Forest Park opens into wide wooded space, framing the district with one of Europe's larger urban forests.
