Roads follow the tops and sides of ridges, curving with the land. On the map they form branching lines rather than any regular grid.

The map
Tejar Map Poster & Print
Tejar lies in the province of San José, in the hilly country that rises south of Costa Rica's Central Valley. On the map the land is anything but flat. Streets climb and curve along ridges, small valleys cut between neighbourhoods, and roads follow the terrain rather than any grid. Houses cluster along the main routes and thin out quickly on the steeper slopes.
Life here is closely tied to the capital region below, and the roads that wind down into the valley are the main links. Beyond the houses the hillsides break up into small farms, patches of woodland and streams that run in narrow ravines. It's the typical landscape of the valley's southern edge.
A Tejar map poster captures that uneven, rising ground through its streets. The lines bend and branch, following ridges and valleys, and the network loosens as it climbs. In Paper or Sand the effect is gentle and warm, a fitting portrait of a hillside community above the valley.

Why Tejar
A map that means something
Tejar is the sort of place people hang on the wall because it's where family lives or where they grew up, looking out over the valley. The poster keeps its hillside streets as they are.
Change the title and subtitle, add a date that matters, and keep the coordinates. Then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
