The Sinú River
The river runs along the town in broad curves, the main natural line on the map and the reason the settlement grew up here.

The map
Tierralta Map Poster & Print
Tierralta lies in the department of Córdoba in northern Colombia, on the Sinú River where the Caribbean lowlands begin to rise toward the mountains. The town sits beside the river, its streets forming a regular grid, while to the south the land climbs into the forested ranges of the Paramillo massif.
Upstream from the town is the Urrá dam and its reservoir, which holds back the waters of the Sinú, and further south lies Paramillo National Natural Park, one of the country's large protected areas. On a regional map the contrast is striking: a compact town on one side, and wide wooded terrain and open water on the other.
A Tierralta map poster centres on the relationship between the town and the river. The Sinú bends past the grid, the main road follows the valley north toward Montería, and the empty spaces of the uplands frame the composition. It is a meaningful print for those from the Alto Sinú who want a picture of home that feels grounded and true.

Urrá reservoir
Upstream, the Urrá dam created a reservoir whose irregular outline follows the flooded valleys, visible in a wider frame around the town.
Road to Montería
The main road heads north along the Sinú valley toward the departmental capital, a clear line linking Tierralta with the lowlands.

Why Tierralta
A map that means something
Tierralta holds strong ties for people across Córdoba, and many who moved to Montería, Medellín or abroad keep the town close. A map of its streets and river becomes a calm, personal piece that speaks of origins without saying too much.
Change the title, add a subtitle with a name, a neighbourhood or a year, and keep the coordinates line. Pick Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and choose between $9 HD files with no watermark or a printed poster delivered by a print partner.
