The map
Vikhorevka Map Poster & Print
Vikhorevka lies in Irkutsk Oblast, west of Bratsk, in the dense taiga of eastern Siberia. On a map the town appears as a compact block of streets set into vast forest, with the railway forming its strongest line. It stands on the Taishet–Lena line, the western approach to the Baikal–Amur Mainline, and much of the town grew around the station.
A small river of the same name flows past, curving through the forest and giving the map its only soft line among the straight rail and road alignments. The town's residential areas follow a planned Soviet layout, with regular blocks and wide streets, while industrial zones connected with timber and rail sit along the tracks.
Beyond the town, the forest stretches almost unbroken, cut only by roads, clearings and power lines. A Vikhorevka map poster captures this contrast between a small, ordered settlement and the immense landscape around it, a composition that feels quiet and remote, like the region itself.

Why Vikhorevka
A map that means something
Vikhorevka is a place built by railway workers, timber workers and their families, and a map of it marks that history. It suits anyone who grew up here and moved to Irkutsk, Moscow or abroad, or a family with ties to the Bratsk area.
Add your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, and choose from Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Noir suits the remote, forested setting, with the town appearing as a bright cluster.
