The map
Voronezh Map Poster & Print
Voronezh is divided by water. The Voronezh River, widened in the 1970s into a long reservoir, runs north to south through the city, separating the historic right bank from the largely industrial and residential left bank. On a map the reservoir appears as a broad ribbon of water crossed by a handful of long bridges.
The old centre sits on high ground above the western shore, where Revolution Avenue serves as the main street and older blocks fall away toward the water in steep lanes. Peter the Great built ships here in the 1690s for his Azov campaigns, and a replica of the warship Goto Predestinatsia is now moored on the reservoir as a museum.
A Voronezh map poster shows a large regional city whose plan is governed by its reservoir and its slopes. Green belts line the shores, newer housing districts extend to the north and south, and the Don flows just beyond the southern edge of the city. The result is a clear, strongly divided composition that reads well at any size.

Right-bank centre
On the high western shore, the historic centre is laid out in a regular grid around Revolution Avenue, its edges dropping steeply toward the water.
Bridges and embankments
Several long bridges cross the reservoir to connect the two banks, their straight lines standing out clearly against the open water and the shoreline parks.

Why Voronezh
A map that means something
For people who grew up in Voronezh or studied at one of its universities, the reservoir and the two banks are the shape of the city itself. A map captures that geography in a way that is personal without being sentimental.
Set the title in your own words, add a subtitle and edit the coordinates line, then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The digital files have no watermark, and printed posters can be ordered with an optional wooden frame.
