Ko e mape
Bageqi lies in the Hotan area of southern Xinjiang, where meltwater from the Kunlun Mountains feeds a chain of oases along the edge of the Taklamakan Desert. From above, the settlement is part of that irrigated world. Roads and water channels run in straight lines through farmland, and villages cluster along them before the land fades into sand.
The town is small and not widely documented in English sources, so the map is the most honest way to describe it. What it shows is typical of the Hotan oases: an orderly network of field roads, compact built-up areas, and a sharp boundary where cultivation stops and the desert begins.
A Bageqi map poster captures an unusual kind of landscape. The streets are drawn against a background shaped by water management, not by hills or coastline, and the lines of roads and canals carry the whole design. In a minimal black-and-white style, the oasis looks almost like a drawing of a field system.
Straight roads and channels divide the farmland into long, regular plots. This geometry comes from centuries of oasis agriculture fed by mountain rivers.
The built-up core is small and tight. Its denser streets stand out clearly against the open grid of the surrounding fields.
Past the last fields, the map turns empty. That abrupt edge between green oasis and Taklamakan sand is the defining feature of the area.

Ko e ha Bageqi
For anyone with roots in the Hotan oases, or who has travelled the southern Silk Road, Bageqi stands for a whole way of living with water and sand. Its map holds that on one quiet sheet.
You can write your own title, subtitle and coordinates, in any language or script you prefer, and pick from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Sand suits the desert particularly well.
