There is no dense old grid at the centre; the town grew mostly as a suburb, and its map reflects that. Bartlett is a city in Shelby County, Tennessee, on the northeastern edge of the Memphis area. It began as a small railroad community and grew rapidly in the late twentieth century as Memphis expanded.
