Ko e mape
Boucherville lies on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River, looking across the water toward the eastern end of the island of Montreal. On a map the river takes up a generous share of the frame, and the town's edge follows its bank in a long line of streets, parks and shoreline paths.
Just offshore sits a group of low islands protected as the Parc national des Îles-de-Boucherville, a pattern of channels, marshes and wooded land that breaks the river into narrow passages. Inland, the town spreads in residential districts divided by the wide lines of the autoroutes that connect it to the bridge and tunnel crossings toward Montreal.
The town traces its origins to the seventeenth century and to Pierre Boucher, whose name it carries, and the old village near the river still shows a tighter, older street pattern than the neighbourhoods beyond. A Boucherville map poster holds both scales at once: the historic riverside core and the modern suburb around it.
The islands of the national park break the St. Lawrence into narrow channels and marshy edges, one of the most intricate water patterns in the Montreal region.
Near the river the original village keeps a compact grid of older streets, clearly distinct from the broader curves of the later suburbs around it.
Major autoroutes cross the town in long, confident strokes, linking it to the river crossings toward Montreal and framing its residential districts.

Ko e ha Boucherville
For anyone who grew up on the south shore, paddled around the islands or crossed the river every day to work, Boucherville is defined by its view of the water. A map puts that relationship between town, river and city into one calm composition.
You can add a personal title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps a family name or the year you settled here, and choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
