Ko e mape
Boyabat lies inland in Sinop Province, in a wide valley south of the Black Sea coastal mountains, where the Gökırmak flows through fertile farmland. The town sits at the foot of a steep rock crowned by the remains of Boyabat Castle, a fortification whose origins reach back to antiquity. From above, the streets spread out across the valley floor from the base of this outcrop.
Not far from the town, the Kızılırmak, Turkey's longest river, is held back by the Boyabat Dam, forming a long reservoir that winds through the hills. Around Boyabat itself the valley is an agricultural landscape of fields, orchards and small villages, crossed by the roads that link inland Anatolia with Sinop and the coast.
A Boyabat map poster shows a compact town shaped by its valley and its castle rock. The streets fan out from the older quarter below the fortress, the river traces a gentle line across the plain, and the surrounding hills frame everything. It suits people from Boyabat now living in Istanbul, Ankara or abroad, and anyone who has travelled the inland roads of the Black Sea region.
The steep outcrop topped by Boyabat Castle rises directly above the town, a sharp break in the street pattern that marks the historic heart of the place.
Newer streets spread across the flat valley floor, gradually loosening into fields and orchards, which gives the map a clear centre and softer edges.
The Gökırmak and its tributaries wind through the valley in thin curving lines that contrast with the straighter roads heading towards Sinop and inland Anatolia.

Ko e ha Boyabat
Many families from Boyabat now live in larger Turkish cities or in Europe, and a map of the town is an understated way to keep that connection. The castle rock gives the design a recognisable focal point that anyone from the town will spot immediately.
