Broadview Heights is in southern Cuyahoga County, about fifteen miles south of downtown Cleveland. From above, the city has a green, subdivided pattern. Winding residential streets and cul-de-sacs sit among patches of woodland, and a few main roads cut straight through on the old survey lines.
Interstate 77 runs through the area on a north–south line, the strongest mark on the map. Around it, the original rural road grid is still visible as long straight routes.
