Bustos is a town in the province of Bulacan, in the flat and fertile plain north of Metro Manila. Its map is shaped by the Angat River, which flows through the municipality on its way toward Manila Bay, and by the network of irrigation channels that fans out from it. Barangays line the roads between the fields, forming thin strings of settlement rather than a single dense core.
The town is known for the Bustos Dam, a diversion structure on the Angat that sends water into canals serving rice farms across much of the province. On a map it appears as a short, straight line across the river, with the canals branching away in careful geometric paths that contrast with the natural curve of the stream.
The poblacion, the historic centre, sits close to the river with its church and a few blocks of regular streets, while newer subdivisions and roads toward neighbouring towns extend in several directions. A Bustos map poster brings together that mix of water, farmland and modest urban grid, a picture of the Central Luzon lowland at a human scale.
The river winds through the municipality in a broad, curving line, the strongest natural shape on the map and the source of the water that feeds the town's farmland.
A short barrier across the Angat diverts water into irrigation canals, marking the point where the river's curve meets the straight lines of engineered channels.
Settlements stretch along the main roads between the fields, forming long ribbons of streets rather than compact blocks, typical of the Bulacan countryside.

Ko e ha Bustos
Bustos is home for many families in Bulacan and for Filipinos abroad who still think of the river and the fields around it. A map is a simple, calm way to hang that place on a wall, far from the provincial roads it shows.
You can add a family name, a hometown line or a date, and choose one of five styles, from Classic black & white to Sand. Printed posters on matte paper, with an optional wooden frame, ship from print partners in more than 30 countries.
