Ko e mape
Camaçari lies north of Salvador in the metropolitan region of Bahia, and its map covers two very different worlds. Inland, the town centre forms a compact grid of streets surrounded by newer residential districts. To the east, the land runs down to the Atlantic, where a long, straight coastline of beaches and small villages marks the edge of the municipality.
The municipality is home to the Camaçari Industrial Complex, one of the largest petrochemical hubs in Latin America. From above, its plants and service roads form a distinctive pattern of large rectangular sites, quite unlike the residential grid nearby. It is a reminder of how central the area has been to Bahia's economy since the late 1970s.
Along the coast, villages such as Arembepe became known in the late 1960s and 1970s as a gathering place for travellers and artists, and the shoreline still draws weekend visitors from Salvador. A Camaçari map poster brings the town, the industrial grid and the coast together in a single, clear composition.
The inland core forms a compact, fairly regular grid, with residential neighbourhoods spreading around it. Main roads link it to Salvador and the coast.
The petrochemical complex appears as a pattern of large rectangular plots and straight service roads. It is a strikingly geometric area on the map.
A long, gently curving shoreline runs along the eastern edge of the municipality. Beach villages dot the coast, and the ocean frames it.

Ko e ha Camaçari
Camaçari means different things to different people: work at the industrial complex, weekends on the beach at Arembepe or Guarajuba, or a family home in the town. A map brings all of it into a single frame.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with your neighbourhood, your beach or a special date. Choose Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, as a digital file or a printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
