Ko e mape
Champlin lies on the south bank of the Mississippi River in the northwest Twin Cities, directly across from the city of Anoka. On a map, the river forms the town's northern edge in a broad sweep, and Elm Creek winds in from the southwest to join it. Residential streets fill the land between, mostly in the curving layouts of postwar suburban planning.
The older part of town grew up near the mouth of Elm Creek, where a mill pond still marks the spot. Upstream, the Elm Creek Park Reserve preserves a large area of woods, wetlands and trails that extends into Champlin. A bridge links the town with Anoka on the opposite bank of the Mississippi.
A Champlin map poster frames the suburb by its water: the wide river along the top, the creek threading through, and the open land of the park reserve. Those natural lines give an otherwise suburban map a clear shape and a sense of place.

The creek winds through town to the Mississippi, and the mill pond near its mouth marks the oldest part of Champlin.
The Elm Creek Park Reserve brings a large open area of woods and wetland into the map, balancing the dense residential streets.

Ko e ha Champlin
Families in Champlin like to find their street between the creek and the river, and people who have moved away keep it as a reminder of home. It is a natural fit for a new house.
Add a custom title, a subtitle with your move-in date, and edit the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint suits the river and creek well.
