Collinwood lies on the east side of Cleveland, along the southern shore of Lake Erie. Its streets follow the straight, rectangular pattern common in American cities of its era, but the lakefront and the railway lines that cut through the area give it a distinctive shape. From above, residential blocks run up to the shoreline, interrupted by rail corridors.
The neighbourhood grew as a railroad community, with large yards serving the lines running along the lake. A Collinwood map poster shows these yards as broad bands of parallel tracks, a strong contrast to the finer pattern of houses and small streets around them.
Collinwood is also remembered for the 1908 Lakeview School fire, one of the deadliest school disasters in American history, which led to changes in building safety standards across the country. Today the area includes lakefront parks, older housing and commercial streets, and its map captures the mix of industry, water and residential life that shaped it.
The neighbourhood's northern edge meets Lake Erie, giving the map a long, gently curving waterline and parks where streets reach the shore.
Broad bands of parallel tracks run through the area, a legacy of Collinwood's origins as a railroad community and one of its most recognisable features from above.
Straight streets and rectangular blocks fill much of the neighbourhood, typical of early twentieth-century American urban growth along the lake.

Ko e ha Collinwood
For people who grew up on Cleveland's east side, Collinwood is a specific place with its own identity, separate from downtown. A map of its streets, rail yards and shoreline captures that local character precisely.
The title and subtitle can name a street, a family or a year, and the coordinates can be adjusted. Blueprint suits the lakefront, while Classic black and white shows the rail lines and grid with clean precision.
