Ko e mape
Erandio lies on the right bank of the Nervión estuary, just downstream from Bilbao, where the river widens on its way to the Bay of Biscay. From above, the town looks like a series of neighbourhoods strung along the waterfront, with streets that turn uphill almost immediately and dissolve into wooded slopes and scattered hamlets further inland.
Its lower districts grew with the industry that once lined the estuary, when shipyards, factories and docks shaped the entire valley. Today the metro line to Bilbao follows the riverbank, and a motorway bridge crosses to the opposite shore, so the map shows several layers of movement running in parallel beside the water.
An Erandio map poster works because of that contrast between the straight, busy river edge and the irregular hill country behind it. The estuary gives the composition a strong diagonal, the rail line traces a second one, and the tighter urban blocks read as small clusters rather than one continuous mass, each with its own character.
The broad tidal river forms Erandio's southern edge and the dominant shape on the poster, a heavy line of water running toward the sea.
Metro Bilbao runs along the right bank past Erandio, a thin steady line that follows the curve of the estuary and links the town's riverside districts.
Away from the river the streets bend and climb, forming small clusters separated by green slopes, which gives the upper half of the map an organic, broken pattern.

Ko e ha Erandio
Erandio suits anyone with ties to Greater Bilbao and its working river: people who commuted along the estuary, grew up on its slopes, or simply love the way Basque towns fit into steep terrain. The map feels industrial and green at the same time.
Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with a neighbourhood name or a meaningful date, and keep or edit the coordinates. Blueprint suits the estuary's industrial past, while Paper or Sand soften the hills; Classic black & white and Noir are also available.
