Gafargaon is an upazila town in Mymensingh Division, in the low, well-watered country north of Dhaka. On a map, the town itself is a compact core of lanes and small roads, but what surrounds it matters just as much: winding channels, ponds and a scatter of village clusters set among flat agricultural land that floods and drains with the seasons.
The rail line between Dhaka and Mymensingh passes through the area, and it appears as one of the few long, firm straight lines in an otherwise meandering landscape. Roads tend to follow higher ground, and settlements gather along them, so the map shows threads of houses and small markets linking the town to its surroundings.
A Gafargaon map poster captures that organic pattern. The black-and-white rendering turns water into soft, curving shapes, villages into small dark clusters and the town into the densest knot of lines at the centre. It is a portrait of a place shaped by water and farming rather than by planners, and that gives it a natural, hand-drawn look.
Rivers, channels and ponds curve through the countryside around Gafargaon. On the print they form fluid shapes that soften the frame and show how closely the area lives with water.
The railway line runs through the area as a long, steady stroke, a clear contrast to the winding roads and lanes that make up most of the local network.
Beyond the town, settlements appear as small, dense groups of paths and buildings scattered across farmland, creating a pattern of dark islands on a lighter background.
