Ko e mape
Gagnoa is a city in the Gôh region of Ivory Coast, in the cocoa and coffee growing country southwest of the capital, Yamoussoukro. From above, a central grid of streets around the commercial core gives way to looser neighbourhoods. On every side, unpaved roads and paths spread outward into the plantations and patches of forest that surround the town.
The city is an important market for the farming region around it and a cultural centre for the Bété people. On the map, that role shows in the roads meeting at the town from several directions. They link it to smaller settlements and to the wider national network toward Daloa, Divo and the coast.
A Gagnoa map poster presents a regional city at human scale. The central blocks form a clear core, the outer neighbourhoods an irregular fringe, and the roads leaving town add long strokes running outward. Printed in monochrome, it makes a thoughtful keepsake for anyone with roots in the Gôh region.
The commercial centre is the densest part of the street network, a compact grid from which the rest of the city grows outward.
Routes from surrounding towns meet in Gagnoa and draw strong lines across the poster, showing the town's role as a hub for the farming region around it.
At the edges, the street pattern loosens into tracks and small clusters of houses, as the town blends gradually into plantations and forest.
