Ko e mape
Gambat lies in Khairpur District in upper Sindh, on the flat plain east of the Indus River. The land around the town is crossed by irrigation canals that divide fields into long, regular strips, and on a map these channels form some of the most visible lines. The town itself is compact, with dense streets around its market area and roads leading out to nearby settlements.
The town is best known across Pakistan for the Gambat Institute of Medical Sciences, a hospital that has become a major centre for liver and kidney treatment and draws patients from far beyond the region. The surrounding district is also known for its date palm orchards, which are an important part of the local economy.
A Gambat map poster shows a town defined by water management and agriculture. The compact centre sits among straight canals and field boundaries, making a clear contrast between the organic texture of the streets and the geometric order of the farmland. It is a quiet, detailed portrait of a town in the Indus plain.
Canals and distributaries cross the land around Gambat in straight or gently curving lines, linking the town to the vast irrigation system of the Indus plain.
The town's core is a dense cluster of streets around the market, which appears on the map as a dark, tightly knit shape surrounded by open land.
The medical institute occupies its own large site, a distinct block on the map that reflects the importance of the hospital to the town and the region.
