İskilip is a town in Çorum province in north-central Anatolia. On a map, its old core shows up as a tight tangle of streets around a steep rock outcrop that rises from the middle of town. Newer neighbourhoods spread outward along the valley in a more regular pattern, and roads leave toward surrounding villages and farmland.
