Kagadi is a town in western Uganda and the administrative centre of Kagadi District, which was created in 2016 from part of the former Kibaale District. It lies in rolling country east of Lake Albert, an area of farms, small trading centres and wooded slopes. The town acts as the main market and service centre for the surrounding villages.
Its map has a hilly shape. The main road runs through the centre with the commercial strip along it, and smaller streets branch off onto the neighbouring slopes. Beyond them, the ground breaks into ridges and valleys, with footpaths and farm tracks following the contours. Streams fill the lower ground.
