Ko e mape
Le Kram lies on the strip of land between the Lake of Tunis and the Gulf of Tunis, with La Goulette to the south and Carthage to the north. On the map it is long and slender, following the coast. The TGM light railway runs through it, linking the suburbs of the northern shore with central Tunis.
The town has a beachfront on the gulf and quieter residential streets inland, and it is home to one of the country's main exhibition grounds. The surroundings are layered with history. The ancient ports of Carthage lie a short distance to the north, and archaeological sites are scattered across neighbouring Carthage.
A Le Kram map poster shows how closely the town is tied to water. The gulf runs along one edge and the lake shore along the other, and the railway and main road squeeze between them in parallel lines. Small, dense blocks of streets fill the gaps, giving the map a strong linear rhythm.
The light railway between Tunis and La Marsa runs straight through Le Kram, a thin, steady line that gives the composition its direction.
The coast along the Gulf of Tunis forms a clean, open edge on the map, with beaches and promenades marking the boundary between town and sea.
Streets to the north lead into Carthage and its ancient harbours. Their distinctive shapes are worth including if you choose a wider framing of the map.

Ko e ha Le Kram
Le Kram suits anyone who knows the northern suburbs of Tunis: summers by the sea, rides on the TGM, a family home a few streets from the beach. The map keeps that thin ribbon of town between two bodies of water in view.
You can personalise the title, add a date or a street to the subtitle and set your own coordinates line. Each of the five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, gives the gulf and the lake a different tone.
