Ko e mape
Logan City covers a large stretch of South East Queensland between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Rather than a single centre, it is a group of suburbs such as Springwood, Logan Central, Beenleigh and Jimboomba, joined by major roads. On a map it looks like clusters of curving residential streets separated by creeks, ridges and patches of eucalyptus bushland.
The Logan River gives the city its name and its most expressive line. It loops through the southern and eastern districts before reaching Moreton Bay, joined along the way by the Albert River. The river was named after Patrick Logan, commandant of the Moreton Bay penal settlement in the 1820s, who explored the area.
The Pacific Motorway runs through the east of the city and the Logan Motorway cuts across the north, so the map is framed by long, confident highway curves. A Logan City map poster brings together that mix of engineered roads and meandering suburban streets, a pattern typical of Australian growth corridors and distinctive in the way it follows the land.
The river swings through the south and east of the city in wide meanders, much of its floodplain left open, before joining the Albert River and heading towards Moreton Bay.
Many neighbourhoods are laid out as looping streets and cul-de-sacs, creating a soft, organic texture that contrasts sharply with the straight lines of the motorways.
The Pacific and Logan motorways form long sweeping lines across the map, tying the suburbs to Brisbane and the Gold Coast and dividing the city into readable sections.

Ko e ha Logan City
Logan is where many families have bought a first house, raised children or settled after moving to Queensland. A poster of its streets can mark a specific suburb and a specific year, which makes it a natural housewarming or anniversary gift.
Set the title, subtitle and coordinates line to match your story, and pick one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Printed posters on matte paper come with an optional wooden frame, or you can download the HD files for $9.
