Panji lies in Situbondo Regency on the northern coast of East Java, not far from the town of Situbondo. On the map, it is part of a narrow lowland strip between the sea to the north and higher ground to the south. The main coastal road that runs along this side of Java shapes the direction of the settlement.
From above, the pattern alternates between village clusters, rice fields and residential streets.
