Piera Map Poster & Print
Piera lies in the Anoia comarca of Catalonia, west of Barcelona, in the rolling country between the coastal ranges and the interior. From above, the municipality is fragmented and spread out. The historic town sits on higher ground, and a number of residential developments and hamlets are scattered across the surrounding hills and farmland.
The old centre is compact, with narrow, winding streets that fit the terrain. Around it, the map shows the typical pattern of Catalan urbanizaciones: curving streets on hillsides, separated by fields, vineyards and patches of woodland. The Barcelona–Igualada railway passes through the municipality and adds a long, flowing line to the composition.
A Piera map poster captures that dispersed character, with a historic core surrounded by an archipelago of settlements in the Anoia landscape. In black and white, the clusters appear as distinct islands of detail against open countryside.

Hillside developments
Residential areas spread across the surrounding hills in looping street patterns and form separate clusters in the countryside.
Railway line
The Barcelona–Igualada line crosses the municipality and links the town with the city. Its curving path traces the valley.
