Regeneração is a municipality in the centre-north of Piauí, in northeastern Brazil. From above it appears as a compact town with a fairly regular street layout, set in wide rural land. Roads radiate from the centre toward neighbouring towns, and beyond the edge of the grid the map quickly opens into sparse country.
