Saint-Eustache lies on the north shore of the Rivière des Mille Îles, across the water from Laval, in the Laurentides region north-west of Montreal. From above, the town is framed by rivers: the Mille Îles along its southern edge and the smaller Rivière du Chêne winding through the old centre to join it, with suburban streets spreading north toward farmland.
The historic core, known as Vieux-Saint-Eustache, gathers around the stone church that stands near the river. In December 1837 it was the scene of one of the decisive battles of the Lower Canada Rebellion, and marks from British cannon fire are still visible on its façade. Autoroute 640 crosses the town, separating older neighbourhoods from newer development.
A Saint-Eustache map poster brings together water, a small historic grid and the looping streets of later suburbs. The river edges give the composition a strong frame, while islands in the Mille Îles add scattered shapes across the lower part of the map, making it a surprisingly rich picture for a town of its size.
The wide river runs along the southern edge of town, its islands and channels adding irregular shapes and a calm expanse of water to the poster.
Vieux-Saint-Eustache clusters along the banks near the historic church, a small, dense grid of older streets that stands apart from the suburbs.
The smaller river winds through the town to meet the Mille Îles, drawing a gentle, meandering line through the centre of the map.

Ko e ha Saint-Eustache
Saint-Eustache is a place where many families settle just beyond the city, close to water and history. A map of it marks a home, a childhood or a first house with more meaning than a photograph alone.
Write your own title and subtitle, in French or English, and keep the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and download the HD files or order a printed poster, framed if you wish.
